Scandinavia Travel
Scandinavia is comprised of five countries: Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Iceland, and Finland. The five countries have much to offer a traveler or tourist. You can either sign up for a tour of various cities (such as Copenhagen, Stockholm, and Oslo), take a cruise, or elect to see the countries on your own, at your own pace.
Since there are five countries to see, Scandinavia travel provides a traveler with many options. A family with young children may want to pay a visit to the Little Mermaid statue in Copenhagen, Denmark. For those with an interest in Vikings, there are plenty of museums to explore. In Iceland, the geo-thermally heated Blue Lagoon is always a treat for visitors, and allows them to pamper themselves in style. The Glacier Lagoon, also in Iceland, is another popular site, in part because the Bond film Die Another Day was filmed there. The Glacier Lagoon provides travelers with spectacular views of southern Iceland.
If you travel to Scandinavia in the summer, the sun will never set. If you travel in winter, you’ll be treated to the spectacular site of the Northern Lights. There are plenty of other natural wonders to see in Scandinavia too. The Fjords offer natural beauty as well as more man made activities such as fishing, canoeing, and rafting.
Everyone should travel to Scandinavia at least once in their life. The toughest thing about it may be getting on the plane to go back home.
